Be Wed is a sub-entity of EK Event Design. The wedding specific brand enables clients to not just have the same quality and personal services that they have always enjoyed, but also now gives an even more streamlined planning experience.
Wedding Packages
Be Wed Provides packages that EK Event Design has always been known for. A customized Day Of Coordination package, Partial Wedding Planning, and Full Wedding Planning (inquire for details). We have found that these packages are in line with what most clients needs are but are still flexible/customizable per wedding, because let's face it, your wedding should be as unique and special as you are!
All Inclusive Wedding Packages
On top of the same amazing personalized packages that EK Event design (and now BE Wed) has always offered, we are now expanding our services to include all inclusive packages. These All- Inclusive packages are offered specifically at Venues that we have partnered with and create a seamless planning process. See the Be Wed website for more information on venue partnerships.
The Be Wed Difference
We will level with you and give you the inside scoop. We at Be Wed have a very distinctive style not only to the decor we help to design, but also in our overall work and planning. It's honest, down to earth, and you always know what you're going to get. Our aesthetic is what you would get if 'Fixer Upper" and "Pottery Barn" had a baby! We have come to love and embrace this which we have found creates some pretty memorable weddings, and we could not be happier to present this brand!

EK Event Design is a boutique style planning and design company that specializes in weddings. We can take your vision and make it a reality. We not only customize planning and coordinating services to fit each client's needs, but can also provide full design services, which means from start to finish, you are 100% taken care of in every aspect! We are one of the most unique Sarasota Wedding Planners in the way that we plan and design with each couple.

Brittany Eagans (Upper Left) and Jessica Kish (Upper Right) opened EK Event Design in 2014, but have worked together for over 15 years. Brittany has a passion for all things wedding and builds lasting relationships with each client. She leaves no detail left to chance, and works with the best professionals in the area. In January 2018 Brittany also Launched Be Wed. Be Wed offers a whole new spin on the wedding planning process.
Jessica executes each wedding she is a part of with enthusiasm and her own special twist.
Fall of 2017 The team grew as Joyia Swan (Lower Right) was brought on as the Lead Wedding Manager. Joyia takes hospitality to a whole new level and has an eye for each and every detail.
Kait Plocharsky (Lower Left) joined in as a Coordinating assistant in 2019 has been a great asset to the team.
